Sky was a one season series about a young male human-looking being, Sky (played by Marc Harrison) who had arrived on Earth in the mid 1970s by mistake. Exactly where his real destination was to be was never clarified. Aided and abetted by a brother and sister, Arby and Jane Vennor (played by Stuart Lock and Cherrald Butterfield) and their friend Roy Briggs (played by Richard Speight), Sky was seeking the 'Juganet' which would enable him to return to his correct destination.
Opposing him in his quest is not only the Earth, who regards him as an unnatural threat to its existence, but also a mysterious character called Goodchild (played by the late Robert Eddison).
Filmed in the West Country of England, at mystical locations such as Avebury, Glastonbury Tor and Stonehenge (which eventually turns out to be the 'Juganet') the series was written by Bob Baker and Dave Martin and produced by HTV West, out of Bristol in 1975.

SKY
My tribute to Sky was originally included
at my
domain in the TV section.
Finally in 2004, it was time for Sky to
stand alone and have its own domain when all seven episodes were finally
located. It took twenty eight years to find them and just twenty four
hours to register a domain name, point the DNS,
completely redesign the site and publish it. (I did get two hours sleep in
there somewhere, for those who are worrying!) It does help having my own
Server to work on and publish to.
I extend my thanks, love and best wishes to
all who visited Sky's old page. I hope you prefer the redesigned version!
